Position Summary
We are hiring for a Construction Project Manager with at least 10 years of experience to work in our Construction department. This position reports to Senior Director Project Management and is responsible for managing sub-contractors who are performing commercial / industrial construction and engineering projects nationwide. Incumbent will work remotely and can reside anywhere in the continental United States with a manageable commute to a major commercial airport as this position will have overnight travel responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have related experience with process plant / process piping projects in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Chemical Process, Biogas, and other related process facility projects.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage projects during the development, pre-construction, construction, and commissioning phases.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and maintain consistent and thorough communication with key stakeholders (both internal and external).
  • Ensure smooth transitions between project phases through close coordination with members of the development and operations teams.
  • Accountable for safety, scope, budget, and schedule of your projects.
  • Projects will be a mix of the following: conversion of biogas to Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) or biogas to Renewable Electricity; Greenfield development, brownfield redevelopment, or distressed asset rehabilitation; EPC or design build project delivery.
  • Oversee or directly perform the completion of: owner-related permitting; contracting with consultants and contractors; negotiations and contractual agreements; utility interconnections (natural gas, power, water, sanitary, internet, etc.); land or land rights acquisition; estimating; bidding; equipment procurement; logistics and material transport.
  • Ensure compliance and reporting for permits, material contracts, lenders, and equity.
  • Manage costs, schedules, deliverables, tasks, and reporting.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Four-year technical/engineering degree from an accredited educational institution, preferred but not required.
  • PMP certification preferred but not required.
  • Ten plus years of industrial scale project management experience.
  • Experience working on gas processing projects such as RNG, gas transmission and compression, gas treating, air separation, LNG, CNG, hydrogen, or related.
  • Must be able to adapt and pivot in response to changes on a day-to-day basis.
  • Demonstratable skills and experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, Primavera, or MS Project.
  • Strong understanding of project controls and contract management. Experience managing projects with CAPEX greater than $50MM.
  • Ability to manage concurrent projects in multiple states.
  • Approximately 30% travel overnight normally, but during plant commissioning your presence may be required on-site daily.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • A strong candidate will have an existing network of vendors, consultants, and contractors throughout the US and be able to deploy those resources to support the overall goals of the Upstream Construction group.
  • Can reside anywhere in the mainland USA near a major commercial airport.
  • Must have appropriate experience within the United States.
Work Hours and Arrangements
Standard Monday - Friday, 1st shift (exempt position); must be available for after-hours/weekend calls as business needs demand.

Pay
The range for this role is anticipated to be $150,000 - $180,000 annually with bonus for eligible positions.
Where a specific pay range is noted, it is a good faith estimate at the time of this posting.  The actual salary offered will be based on experience, skills, qualifications, market / business considerations, and geographic location.
